ENTERPRISE MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (FULL TIME)

The Enterprise Marketing and Communications Officer role is key to deliver our “More than a Club” project in Wales. The “More than a Club” pilot project is supported by the Ireland Wales European Territorial Co-Operation programme, which is helping to strengthen collaboration between Ireland and Wales to address common economic and social challenges. The project aims to develop new social enterprises aligned with professional football clubs in Ireland (via the FA Ireland) and Wales which will design, develop and deliver innovative social programmes centred on health, education and social inclusion.

The Enterprise Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for the delivery of the delivery of all marketing and communications activities for the project, this includes (but is not exhaustive of) managing social media channels, developing case studies and press releases, website management, production of marketing collateral and more!

Salary: £23,000

Contract Duration: This is a fixed term role until 31 May 2019.

Board Vacancies

As the 2015 UK Social Enterprise of the Year, we are looking to build on our success by strengthening the support to our Board of Directors by adding an HR specialist and a well connected Fundraiser on a voluntary basis. We are flexible to applications for the candidate to become a member of the Board or just an advisor to the Board. We are seeking the following two roles:

Programme Leaders (Freelance)

As one of the UK’s leading social enterprises, Vi-Ability is looking for highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic Programme Leaders to support us on a freelance basis across the UK. 

As a Programme Leader, you will be required to deliver our award-winning educational programmes, supporting our young people to gain qualifications, as well as highlighting the opportunities available to them within the sports and leisure industry.

The role is ideal for people who are passionate about using sport to support individuals who have often become disengaged with traditional education methods and are struggling to find employment.

Volunteering

Vi-Ability has an increased pool of volunteers who carry out a diverse range of roles. Want to do your bit but not sure where to start? Whether you have ten minutes, or ten months, there are hundreds of ways for you to get involved with Vi-Ability and our network of partner clubs and organisations.

You could volunteer to help out on a match-day, assist with maintenance jobs around a stadium, administration, promoting games or take part in a fundraising challenge – whatever takes your fancy.

With so many events and matches going on we are looking for people who can come along on an occasional basis to capture the moment.
